Foundation Focused Training Opportunities

The Foundation Focused Training Opportunities (FFTO) scheme is a 26 week funded course giving training in a range of disciplines aligned to the Engineering and Automotive trades. The couse is a mix of theory and practical work and you will gain valuable unit standards during the training period.


Entry Criteria:

  • Work and Income referred
  • Aged 18 years or above


What You Will Gain:

  • Unit Standards in Workplace Health & Safety as well as Emergency First Aid and C.P.R.
  • A range of industry skills which may lead to a career in your chosen discipline
  • Assistance to apply for vacancies within the industry, giving guidance for application and interview techniques.


Mode:

Students will be allocated to an FFTO module from one of the following:

  • Welding skills
  • Automotive


Fees:
  There is no cost for this training.

Intakes:  Flexible and when a vacancy becomes available.

Duration:  26 weeks (Full Time).

Day Classes:  9:00am to 3:30pm (or as per timetable).
