Entry Criteria:

The course is free for those who are 18 years or above and who meet the eligibility criteria of Work and Income NZ and/or the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).


Course Summary:

The course is designed for those who are undecided about a career in the automotive industry and is offered as a pathway to either an apprenticeship in the trade, or further studies at other tertiaries. The course provides an overview practical skill in the automotive options. Students will also gain a nationally recognised qualification and a strong knowledge of communication and employment skills.


Career Opportunities:

Students will gain credits towards a nationally recognised course while developing their personal goals and also an opportunity to explore the wide range of career opportunities that are available within the automotive industry.


Duration:
  48 weeks (Full Time).

Intakes:  January, but applicants can join the course at any time during the year when a vacancy becomes available. 

Qualifications:  Units towards the National Certificate in Motor Industry (Automotive Electrical Mechanical Strand) Level 2.

Day Classes:  9:00am to 3:30pm (or as per timetable).
