Entry Criteria:
The course is free for those who are 18 years or above, and who meet the eligibility criteria of Work and Income NZ and/or the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).
Course Summary:
The course provides an overview of the panel industry and can be used as a pathway to either an apprenticeship in the trade, or further studies at other tertiaries. Students will gain credits towards a nationally recognised qualification and a strong knowledge of communication and employment skills.
Career Opportunities:
The course provides opportunities for students to explore the wide range of career opportunities that are available within the automotive body industry, or develop their own personal goals under the guidance of our experienced tutors.
Duration: 48 weeks (Full Time).
Intakes: January, but applicants can join the course at any time during the year when a vacancy becomes available.
Qualifications: National Certificate in Motor Industry (Entry Skills) Level 2 with strands in Automotive Electrical and Mechanical, and Collision Repair.
Day Classes: 9:00am to 3:30pm (or as per timetable).
Campus: 6A Jack Conway Ave, Manukau.
