Training For Work

Training benefits and travel allowances are available

The Training for Work (TFW) scheme is a funded course of up to 13 weeks duration. The object is to work toward securing permanent employment, by updating job search and interviewing skills, as well as actively applying for employment positions. 

Entry Criteria:

• Work and Income referred
• Aged 18 years and above

What you will gain:

• Instruction in Workplace Health & Safety
• There will be assistance available for job searching and advice on career progression
• You will be prepared for employment opportunites; CV creation; letter writing and interview preparation

Fees:  There is no cost for this training

Intakes:  Flexible and when a vacancy becomes available

Duration:  13 Weeks

Day Classes:  9:00am to 3:30pm (or as per timetable)

BARC

BARC is a Training for Work (TFW) course that is designed to upskill students with basic computing, business admin, retail, customer service and job seeking skills. Students will learn how to create an effective CV and apply for jobs, use Microsoft Office applications, how to deal with customers and general office skills.

• Aged 18 years or older
• Work and Income referred

• Job Seeking Skills
• There will also be assistance available for job searching and advice on career progression

Career Opportunities:

Upon the completion of the course students will have the skills that will enable them to gain employment in any area that requires computing, business admin or customer service skills.
